For me, I think the reading
name of They’ve Got to be Carefully Taught
made me think more about my life. That reading is talking about many teachers
try to let their students learn what they are different with their classmates
in Cultural Diversity Month at preschool. However, Susan is the author of that
reading, who doesn’t support that these teachers teach the cultural awareness
to these kids at preschool. Because Susan worries about children who know their
difference too early will let them to notice differences too soon. When I
finished that reading, I know why the author disagrees with Miss Laura and I am
really agreed with author’s opinion. I think these kids should play and sing
together rather than know perfectly about their differences with their
classmates. And, after these kids growing up, we might teach them that you
should proud of your country heritage. Friday, April 25, 2014
